Residential Elevators

Home Elevators Customized To Fit Your Life

When considering home elevators, vacuum and hydraulic systems are two common options. Vacuum elevators use air pressure changes to move the cabin, making them energy-efficient and suitable for smaller spaces. On the other hand, hydraulic elevators operate using a system of fluid-driven pistons, offering a smooth and quiet ride ideal for larger homes. Both systems have their advantages, providing homeowners with safe and reliable vertical mobility solutions.

At Luxe Home Elevators, we offer several models of both types with customizable options to meet the needs of your space.

Home elevators come in a variety models of different styles, looks and designs.

Depending on a home’s structure, one type of elevator design may be more ideal than another. Some take up more space while others require different motors and components.  So, before getting set into just one type, try to understand what will fit within your budget and space.

Hydraulic Home Elevators

LUXE Custom Hydraulic Home Elevator

Hydraulic home elevators work with cylinders and pistons.  As with anything hydraulic, hydraulic oils are used to move the piston—which in turn moves the cab up and down.  The release of the oil is from electrical valves that control the elevator.  These tend to be the more expensive option for most home owners.  However, here at Luxe Home Elevators we have created and designed our very own hydraulic home elevator with our own components, which means, you get a hydraulic home elevator for less than the competition without compromise on the safety or quality of the home elevator. Features include:

Vacuum Home elevators

VACUUM Home Elevator by Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators

Pneumatic home elevators are commonly called vacuum elevators as that is essentially how they operate. They have turbines on the top that regulate the air inside the chamber, and the movement of the elevator is propelled by this air regulation.  They are typically a smooth ride and made from a clear material such as glass.  These types of elevators are very easy to install and don't require a machine room, which means they can be installed in smaller areas.  If you are finding it hard to find a location to put an elevator shaft in your home, this might be the perfect option for you. We offer 1-3 passenger options, as well as a cost effective square lift model, The Cube. Standard vacuum elevator features include:

  • No pit excavation, hoist-way, or machine room required

  • Services up to 5 stops for residential, marine, and stage applications (50’ total rise)

  • Self-supporting structure: the elevator is capable of freestanding on any level ground surface

  • “Green Elevator:” minimal energy consumption required during ascent and no energy necessary for descent

  • Modern design allows 360º visibility without cables or pistons that block vision

  • Minimal maintenance: no lubricants or regular service required
